Gelweave™
is a zero porosity gelatin
impregnated graft and
is available in straight,
bifurcate, single and
multibranched configurations
that are primarily indicated
for cardiothoracic and
thoracoabdominal applications.

The
polyester structure
features “floating
yarns” that create
a velour on the external
surface of the graft,
encouraging better attachment
of ingrowing tissue
and an improved healing
capacity. |
| The
sealant can be loaded
with heparin to provide
additional active thromboresistance
within the graft and/or
bonded with antibiotics
for extra protection against
postoperative graft infection
in high-risk cases. |
